Work that builds a future.

A Veteran has more discipline and skill than most workforces will ever see — but discipline doesn't pay rent on its own. We connect the training, the certification, and the employer who's ready to hire.

Plain answers

Training questions, answered straight.

Is there free job training for Veterans in Detroit? Yes — and most of it goes unused because nobody explains who qualifies. Veterans get priority of service at Michigan Works, and green-workforce training runs right here through We Want Green Too. Tell us what you're after and we'll point you at the program, not a job board.
What certifications can a Veteran get for free? Depends on the trade — green-energy certs through workforce training, skilled-trades routes like Helmets to Hardhats, and VA education benefits many Veterans never touch. The resource list below is checked by hand; start there or just ask us.
