Michigan department of Blue Star Mothers of America (congressionally chartered 501(c)(3), founded in Flint, MI in 1942); mothers supporting active military, Veterans and Veterans' hospitals.

Advocacy for Humanity connects Veterans to Blue Star Mothers, Department of Michigan, an independent organization, for family support across Statewide Michigan (15+ chapters incl. the Thumb, Kalamazoo, Kent County, Oakland County, Upper Peninsula). They do the work; we just help Veterans find them — AFH doesn't run it.

Support for active-duty troops and Veterans, care packages, volunteering with Veterans and VA hospitals, family/peer support through statewide chapters
